During the one week Gawai break, the three of us + one of our classmate, Yana had went to Jerejak Island in Penang to spend our last holiday before our final exams :D

It all started when i suggested to Dielalo that someday we should go to Jerejak Island cause i've been there when i was doing my diploma back in 2011 and it a thrilling experience! just when i thought it was a passing matter, D suddenly told me about the AirAsia promotion; flight ticket to Penang as low as RM39.00 (tax excluded) per pax. and after the confirmation that there would four of us going, D booked the flight tickets.
I was in charged of the room reservations, so i went to the Jerejak Rainforest Resort's official website to check for room availability. it turned out there is an early bird promotion and i managed to book 2 rooms for 3D2N with the price of RM115.00 each, breakfast included!
Long story cut short, we arrived at the Bayan Lepas International Airport around 9.45a.m. and had our breakfast there. Thanks to D's friend, we arrived at the Jerejak Rainforest Resort's Jetty around 11a.m.
as the boat only come every 30 minutes interval, we did out wait at the provided seating area and well, took (a lot of) pictures.

Once we arrived at the island, we were greeted with beautiful, scenery!
the resort is very appealing on the eyes and the ambiance is very well-done.

During stay at the resort, we've done various activites from vigorous extreme activities to simply leisure-based activity.

When we got back to the resort, we met a few people from the recreation department who offered us all the extreme activities (wall climbing, rapelling, hanging bridge, flying fox) at the price of RM25!! But all four of us has decided that we're bailing wall climbing and rappelling and went for the hanging bridge and flying instead!
After we're done with the extreme activities, on the evening, we took a stroll near the beach bonfire area, before we decided to go to the jetty instead and watch sunset.
It was really sad for us to leave the island, because this would be the last holiday we'd have in this semester and final exam is approaching. We kept looking back at the island as we took the boat ride back to the main island.
Jerejak Island in conclusion is a beautiful place, with rich historical background. It is a blessing that the island maintained it's green forest.
A word of advice, Jerejak Island would be more worth it if you come in large groups because then only the resort would prepare special shows like fire shows and BBQ party.
